Maurício Lima

CEO

Mauricio has a B.A. from Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV). He is the co-founder and CEO of Henkan Investimentos Ltda, an asset management firm dully authorized to manage investment funds. Mr Lima was also the founder and CEO of Invest Tech Participações and has experience in venture capital and private equity in IT and Telecom, business structuring, capital raising, and management of start-up operations.

Mr. Lima was the CEO of Invest Tech, a Brazilian private equity/venture capital management company, for almost 20 years. He was responsible for raising more than US$ 280 million with institutional investors in Brazil and Internationally. Mr. Lima coordinated 27 investment transactions and 14 exits, with returns of 30.3% p.y. and more than 4x CoC. Mr Lima is currently a Board Member in Quality Software and Sky.One, companies with annual revenues in 2024 of US$ 65 million and US$ 75 million respectively.

Mr Lima has worked at Latinvest Asset Management managing portfolios involving investments in public companies and private equities – total asset holdings of US$ 250 million and US$ 50 million in Brazil respectively. When managing public investment portfolios, he executed and developed investment and business exit strategies. In the private equity investment fund, he acted from prospection of new businesses to the monitoring and divestment of business activities such as cable TV networks, basic sanitation and telecommunications.

Mr. Lima has also worked at Lloyds Bank and Banco Itaú.

Since 2004, he has been a portfolio manager duly authorized by the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM), was responsible for Invest Tech´s 5 investment Funds.

Marcio Passos

CFO

Marcio holds a B.A. in Economics from PUC-RJ and graduated with na MBA at The Fuqua School of Business (Duke University), in North Carolina. He has also completed executive education courses at Harvard Business School, focusing on the Private Equity and Venture Capital Industries and at Fundação Dom Cabral, focusing on board of directors effectiveness and development.

Marcio is the co-founder and CFO of Henkan Investmentos.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial markets with an extensive background in the PE/VC industries and in developing new business and financial management.

During his career, he has participated in numerous boards and committees of companies in different sectors and stages, including listed companies.

He was a managing director of Albion Capital, a Brazilian Asset Management firm focused on Climate Finance investments.

Prior to Albion Capital, Marcio was the global CFO of MJV Technologies, a high-growth technology company with local presence in 6 countries.

Previously, he was a Managing Director at Invest Tech, a Brazilian private equity/venture capital management.

He also founded Thalassa Capital, a strategy and Finance consulting company focused on improving companies financial performance and market positioning through na active role on day-to-day activities and long-term strategic positioning, with a emphasis on improving and/or introducing corporate governance structures.

Mr. Passos was a partner at Gávea Investmentos where his responsibilities included managing invested companies, analyzing and negotiating new deals and leading investor relations and information reporting activities. In addition, he was responsible for fundraising and negotiations of Fund’s terms with potential investors in Gavea’s Private Equity Funds. Before joining Gávea he was a Managing Director and COO of Ideiasnet S.A., a listed VC fund.

Previously, he worked for 4 years at Oi Participações S.A., where he worked in the M&A department handling various assignments and analysis in the Telecom and Technology Industries; later spearheading the launch of Oi Internet and becoming the head of the finance department for Oi`s ISP. Additionally, Mr. Passos has worked for 10 years in the financial market, working for Banco Icatu and Banco Bozano, Simonsen / Santander in their equities division, in Rio de Janeiro and in New York.
